The lack of papers published on MS that focus on Black or Latino patient populations, and disparities in clinical trial representation, make providing evidence-based care difficult in these groups. This paper reviews the clinical, genetic and socioeconomic differences seen in patients of different racial or ethnic backgrounds, and offers some clinical practice insights on how to improve management of minority patients with MS.
