The immune system is like a complex defense team, with different types of cells that each play a unique role to keep our bodies safe from harmful invaders. Each immune cell has its own “job description” and together they form a well-organized system to recognize, attack, and remember these threats.


In MS, the immune system goes awry, mistakenly attacking the body’s own tissues. Regulatory T-cells, or “Tregs,” serve as the immune system’s brakes, keeping it from causing harm. They calm and control the immune response, ensuring it doesn’t mistakenly attack healthy cells.
