Descriptive Analysis of Health Disparities Between Black and White People With Multiple Sclerosis in the Deep South

This article reviews disparities in health outcomes as experienced by Black Persons with MS in the Deep South as compared to White Persons with MS. Findings suggest that a more aggressive course in relapsing MS for Black Persons may drive the disparity and shows that an outsized influence of comorbidities in Black Persons may also drive the disparate outcomes.
