Multiple sclerosis in indigenous peoples of the Americas: A systematic review of incidence, prevalence, and outcomes

This systematic review explored the incidence, prevalence, and outcomes of Indigenous persons with MS. Incidence and prevalence vary globally, but are lower when compared to White populations. Studies indicate a faster disease progression and higher disability when compared to White populations.
