MS Society of Canada increases research to $3.8M

This story from the Canadian Newswire brings good news to researchers in Canada. Due to a number of promising project proposals, the Candadian MS society has decided to increase projects spending by 27% to $3.8 million. About half of the projects are aimed at discovering why the disease attacks in the first place while others are focused on the healing side of the disease. The Society also grants scholarships which is a great way to attract enthusiastic young researchers to the MS field.
