Feds pose challenge to use of medical marijuana in WA

The Seattle Times reports that two men in Bremerton, Washington are facing federal prosecution for growing medical marijuana in their garage. Medical marijuana users and their doctors fear this may be a shift in policy from tolerance to a willingness to prosecute. Medical marijuana is allowed under Washington state law. However, federal prosecutors are not bound by this law. The men suspect that their outspoken activism in the community may have led police to their garage. This is another instance of the Feds overriding a state law - precisely the sort of thing that the constitution was set up to prevent. Unbelievable.

(utter insanity)
but we shouldn't notice that. instead, failing news of clinton's genetalia we will be treated to a new distraction in the form of high tech bombing runs on the current designated enemy. (who's arsenal of nerve gas and anthrax was provided by bush the elder)
