Please try to come to the
Please try to come to the Portland, Oregon area. This is where our largest Research facility is... Oregon Health Science University, the MS Research is head by Dr. Dennis Bourdette - though I have no idea how open he would be to your ideals.
People need to see you and hear you. All that is offered out here are meetings/seminars/etc. by drug companies like Avonex, Betaseron, etc., etc.
The National MS Society, Oregon Chapter is backed largerly by drug companies and the chapter is internally limited by what they can and cannot offer to people in the way of information by their close affiliation with these drug companies. This is not saying that the people are not doing and giving their best, but they are contractually limited to what they can say and do regarding new information, alternative methods/ideas, etc.
However, there is another organization - more grassroots that would probably be an excellent source for you.

- a completely separate organization from the National MS Society, Oregon Chapter. They have statewide contacts with the people who deal with the disease and would be interested in hearing something beyond the usual drug company pandering.
Thank you.
