This Friday, April 11 2008, the Montel Williams show will feature Clay Walker (country singer w/MS), Ann Boroch (used nutrition to treat her MS), and Kelly (fundraiser). More details can be found here (at least for this week, use the archive to find it later).
I highly recommend Ann Boroch's book "Healing Multiple Sclerosis: Diet, Detox & Nutritional Makeover for Total Recovery" for its very readable, personal, thorough and mostly natural approach to dealing with MS. While the current medical establishment may scoff at some of her assertions and conclusions, she successfully healed herself of very severe MS over the course of four years, and her experience and further study and experiences as a naturopath give her voice great credibility. If you truly want to do what you can to heal your MS, I urge you to read this book and follow its suggestions. Though I have found great help with my MS from a slightly different, though similar, complementary approach, I've still learned much from this book, and plan to listen to Ann Boroch this Friday.

I haven't seen anything that gives credibility to Ann Boroch's claims. SHE says she cured herself...but where are her medical records or third party documentation of her symptoms before and after her "self-cure?" Sorry, but it seems she's in it for the money and is giving false hope to people who are desperate for a cure. I have MS & have done extremely well with standard medical care (disease-modifying drugs) and common sense approaches(healthy diet, regular exercise, prayer, balanced lifestyle). Four years after my diagnosis I am still working full time, completely ambulatory, and have had very few (if any) MS problems.

I too wondered what collabratory info Ms. Ann had t oback her claims. Hopefully there is more on her website to convince us to try her ways of dealing with the illness.
Cheers to Montel for being such a strong warrior for the cure for MS. He is a fantastic role model.

There is another person that claims to have used the Jon Barron's Base of health program to
recover from her symptoms of MS. Her name is Sue Ellen Dickerson, and her site can be found
at http://www.nomorems.com. Interesting fact on Sue, she was a chairman of her local MS Society
chapter. When she tried to tell the MS Society of the recovery from her symptoms, and how she
did it, they dismissed from her position. See her biography, see even posted her medical results,
and corespondance with her neurologist online.
I highly recommend Ann
