Parachuting for Charity costs 13.75 times what it raises

This is a funny (odd, not haha) paper that looked at the cost of injuries to NHS at two jump centers in the UK. It turned out that the bulk of the injuries were from charity sky dives and the cost of treating the injuries significantly outweighed the amount raised. Ah, lovely irony.

Injuries are much more expensive than deaths.
