Bioness: Foot Drop Correction Device
Submitted by art on Wed, 2007-11-07 08:16.
I got a call from a friend of mine who had just tried a new device from Bioness that can help with foot drop and hand problems. It is currently used for stroke, but they are begining to look at it for MS. While he had only one session when I spoke with him, he said it was amazing to see his legs and hands move in ways he hadn't seen in years.
Watch the video to see how it works - and maybe give them a call urging them to keep trying it in MS.

NESS L300 foot drop correction device
This is the most impressive device I have seen since my MS-induced difficultues of walking started. Where can it be purchased (in Europe)?

I am having difficulty with my insurance covering the Ness L300.
I have had foot drop from MS for about 7 years. Now quite bad at times.
I tried the L300 a couple of weeks ago. Wow, phenominal. I walked normal again.
I am looking for what my insurance needs\calls: "Published Clinical Evidence"
that the Ness L300 works/treats foot drop caused from MS.
If anyone has been thru this and has any published statements\documents that
may satisfy their cry for documented evidence please email me your information or suggestion.

Sincere thanks to you,

I just got my NYS insurance
I just got my NYS insurance to cover the first 4-month "Rental" fee @ $500.00 per month.
They sent me $2,000 reimbursement. They say if Bioness will let them apply that 2000 to the purchase of the device, they may come thru and be able to fork up more money for the purchase.
My cry for help paid off.
I was willing to take out a loan for the $5900, but now should be working out for my manageable benefit.
If you live out of the USA, you can call Bioness @ 1-800-211-9136 for info on how to obtain a device for yourself.
