Just when you thought that this was the only blog on earth to not mention Paris Hilton. Yes, the MS cause is going to be part of her redemption: "Hilton said she hopes for an early release and plans to work for charitable causes like breast cancer research and Multiple Sclerosis."

Assuming you aren't joking - which is difficult to believe - Paris Hilton has been probably the single biggest news item for the past several years. I'm assuming you don't watch television or get a newspaper (which I don't, but even *I* know about her).
She's a Hilton hotel heiress who is famous for being famous and her grandmother had MS.
But I'm sure you are just joking. You are aren't you? (If you're not, don't admit it in public! :-)
PS: There is also a war going on in Iraq, but Paris gets more press than the war. I am not joking about that.
