I haven't read this book, but had it brought to my attention. It's the story of a woman with MS and the harrassment she endured because of her disease, gender, and race while working at General Motors.

I am the woman who wrote the book. The court's decision strikes a blow against people with disabilities all over our country. I asked for nothing special, only fair treatment. I begged GM executives to step in and halt the assault against me. They were well aware of the cultural mentality of this plant. I sent GM executives letters with post office return receipts. The letter is in the book. I pleaded for the abuse to stop as to not exacerbate my MS, which has become progressively worse. GM was fully aware and sided with my abusers, although they were the ones defrauding the company. My superintendent admitted to discrimination against me because of my MS.The judge called it an isolated incident. His written opinion is in the book. The judge threw out my case ,in summary disposition, on every charge and I never got to court. My attorney would not allow me to attend the motion for summary disposition hearing. I also had a right-to-sue-letter issued by the EEOC for the gender harassment which should have outweighed a Circuit judge's opinion. I have pictures of nooses to support my story. My deposition transcript, which is a legal document, had 108 pages removed. My case reeks of corruption through and through. How could the judge side with GM who admitted the discrimination? In my opinion, GM can get by with almost anything, including discrimination, as they did in my case. GM has managed to stall my Workers comp case for almost 4 years. They do not want to be held accountable for anything. That should be my next book. Corporations who enjoy the protections and freedoms provided by our constitution, should be required to follow the laws of our country. GM needs to look at their leadership and perhaps do some housecleaning in order to save the company. If they can get by with what they did to me, who and what is next?
