MSNews Lesson #8: Submitting a story

It's easy to submit a story to MSNews. And don't worry, an editor will look at it before it gets posted to the site. When you come across something you think would be of interest to the MS community, go to the MSNews home page, login if you are registered, and click on the Submit a Story link (on the right in the "Welcome to MSNews" box).

Fill in the Subject and write a short summary of the story you are posting for the Body (don't forget to leave a URL to the original). Select the appropriate topic. Don't worry about formating or picking the wrong topic - it will be reviewed and cleaned up before posting. Then click on the "Preview" button. If it looks OK, hit the "Submit" button.

If it isn't a repeat, and is relevant, it should appear on MSNews in the coming week.
