SSA Disability Petition: Dealing with Relapsing Disease

Due to the chronic nature of the disease, many MS patients can function at near normal levels during periods of remission, and then be unable to work and take care of themselves while in relapse periods. Herein lies the problem. Under current law, there is no provision for MS victims to receive disability benefits at times when they are unable to work, and reserve eligibility for future assistance if they are able to return to work in between attacks.

Consider signing this petition to help this guy launch an effort to get legislation to change the way disability works for chronic illness that has remissions.
