Omega 3: Fish Oil, Flax Oil, and Blood Clotting

These articles give suggestions for how to best get Omega three if you have MS or other diseases. Embry talks of eating fish, these other two articles are pushing oils and capsules you can buy from their company. Just some info to digest, I'm not pushing any of these particular man made supplements, but I am a believer in eating lots of fish.

I read that:
Many studies show that essential fatty acids (EFA) lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels and reduce platelet stickiness explaining their benefit in cardiovascular disease.

as to my own personal experience:

My cholesterol is excellent(to die for is what I've been told) and my triglycerides almost too low! I take no vitamins, but I exercise and fish is my main form of protein, mainly canned tuna. I barely eat red meat or chicken. I am a believer in the Pritikin diet. Lots of veggies and carbs such as rice and potatoes, and a small amount of protein. I don't skimp on mayonaise and I eat cheese, eggs if I want to(hard boiled). I have been known to go though baked potato,sour-cream and cheese phases... (of course I have often been swimming a mile a day when I do this..you may not want to try this at home!). I'm never sick. I'm lucky."
