Mitoxantrone, also known as Novantrone, is a chemotherapy used in MS as well as cancer. A prostate cancer study using mitoxantrone was shut down after three subjects were diagnosed with leukemia. This is on top of the already known cardio-toxic effects of the drug. Ugh.
