Exercise reduces heart disease risk factors in people with MS

Some researchers just did a study to find out whether exercise helps lower coronary heart disease risk in people with MS. Guess what, it does! Women with MS who exercised at low or moderate intensity in this study were thinner and had lower triglyceride and glucose levels than those who did not exercise.

It seems pretty obvious to me. I wonder why they thought people with MS would be any different in this regard from everyone else?

This quote "These findings suggest that exercise levels attainable by women with MS may improve CHD risk" seems to indicate that it was more a matter of testing whether the lower level (due to MS) of exercise was still beneficial. So I guess we don't get a free ticket to sit on the couch and eat potato chips. Damn those scientists!
