Cpn Study Says "Not a Factor"

Another small study in the ongoing "It is Cpn" vs "It isn't Cpn" battle found no correlation between MS and Chlamydophila pneumoniae (Cpn). There are many who believe that this pathogen is responsible for triggering MS and many who have tried to find the correlation but failed. This is another in the failed camp.

This study does not actually accomplish what the blurb says it does. Serum antibodies are known not to be correlated with CPn-related diseases; there have been cases of patients with full-blown CPn infections of the CNS which responded beautifully to anti-chlamydial therapy, yet they were seronegative.
I don't believe they used Vanderbilt's CPn detection kit, either.
