We are sad to report that we have decided to close down the San
Francisco office. Sarah Nels has resigned, but remains on our Board
of Advisors. We'll still be doing things in the Bay area, that won't
change.
>>> Research
Repository:
o 37 new subjects were enrolled in February (19 MS, 10 NMO, 1 TM, 7
controls) to result in a total of 1454 subjects. In addition, 11
follow-up visits were conducted, which gives us a total of 31 now
completed.

o Two new sites have opened, which will give more people the chance to
participate! Beth Israel Deaconess (Boston) and The Ohio State
University (Columbus) are now open for enrollment. See our web site
for contact information if you are interested in participating in
the repository at any of our sites:
http://www.acceleratedcure.org/repository/contact.php
o Our collaboration with the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation to
enroll NMO subjects into our repository is going very well, and we
are on track to enroll 20 subjects by mid-March.
o As part of our involvement in an industry association (ISBER)
work-group, Sara and Hollie are polling other repositories about
their cost-recovery policies and gathering information about funding
sources.
o Hollie spoke with staff at Faster Cures' Biobank Central to tell them
about our repository and what makes it so unique and valuable.
>>> Community Building
o We had meetings with the following people:
- Hollie met with Nicole Mutschler of drug company Questcor to explain
what we do and hear about their community outreach programs.
o As always, a few more T-shirt pictures are available:
