>>> Research
Repository:
* At the end of November, our repository enrollment had reached 1,366
subjects, and this number continues to steadily grow.
* We officially launched the longitudinal (repeat visit) component of
our study, with our first return visit conducted at our UMass site! A
total of four subjects returned for longitudinal visits in November.
Other sites will begin conducting follow-up visits soon.
* We received the funding necessary to open a new site in Boston at the
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and began preparations to open
this site for enrollment.
* Hollie participated in a meeting focused on neuromyelitis optica (NMO)
research sponsored by a new organization, the Guthy-Jackson Foundation.
* We received a new proposal for use of samples and data from the
repository, and are working with Diogenix to plan a follow-up to their
repository study.
* Hollie met with Alberto Ascherio, Claire Simon, and Kassandra Munger
from the Harvard School of Public Health to discuss ideas for
repository-based research.
>>> Community Building
* Julie met with students from Bentley to provide them with information
about Accelerated Cure Project's mission and financials for their
project on nonprofit accounting.
* As always, a few more T-shirt pictures are available:

>>> Fundraising
* We're proud to announce that Charity Navigator awarded us its top
rating of four stars, which is only granted to an organization if it
"exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its
Cause." This is our second year in a row to receive this rating.
Here is our entry on their web site:
