>>> Fundraising
We recently signed up with agoodcause.com, a company that will make a
donation to us every time our supporters make a purchase at
participating Internet retailers. To participate, download the software
application AidMaker to your computer. AidMaker enables you to shop in
thousands of on-line shops -- many of the sites you shop on anyway, like
Best Buy, eBay, etc. For every purchase you make in one of these shops,
the shop will make a donation to Accelerated Cure Project.
Click here to download AidMaker (currently Windows only, but a Mac
version is being developed):

>>> Recent Events
o September 26-27, Chicago, IL: Final numbers are in for an event we
mentioned in last month's status: Carrot Top Records raised $12,000 with
their benefit concert. Thanks for all your hard work!
o October 11, Cincinnati, OH: For the third year in a row, the core
group of volunteers making up the Greater Cincinnati Cure Project pulled
together another extremely successful Canine Happy Hour. 150 people and
95 dogs -- that's right, 95 dogs -- came out to Anderson Dog Park to eat
and drink, buy raffle tickets, bid on auction items, and listen to live
music. Together, they raised $20,000!
o October 26, Arlington, MA: The 6th Annual Sing to Cure MS was a hit!
Boston music fans met at an Arlington church on a beautiful Fall day to
see more than 15 talented artists perform. Hot chocolate and baked
goodies were gobbled up during intermission as people bought raffle
tickets to win prizes galore. The event raised around $3,000. A very
special thank you to Marion Leeds Carroll for the huge amount of time
she dedicates to this event year after year!
>>> Operations
o We are now tax exempt in the state of California, where one of our
offices is located.
