Information on our other mailing lists and unsubscribing is at the
bottom of this message.

>>> Joining/Leaving Us Last Month

o YingFei Li and Jasmine Park, both students at MIT, have joined us this
  summer to work on repository and Cure Map projects.

o Elena Bryce comes to us as an Americorp Fellow to work on developing
  alternative fundraising strategies.

>>> Research

Repository:

o Our enrollment now stands at 1191 subjects who have donated samples
  and data.

  http://www.acceleratedcure.org/repository/status.php

o We distributed samples (PaxGene for RNA) from 10 subjects (cases and
  controls) to Diogenix, a company that is developing diagnostic techniques.

o We also distributed samples (DNA and RNA) from 20 MS subjects to a
  researcher at NASA.

o Art and Hollie met with colleagues from Johns Hopkins and the Myelin
  Repair Foundation to talk about potentially adding brain samples to
  our collection. While in Maryland, they also visited the SeraCare
  facility that is storing our samples to see our freezers and meet
  with the staff there.

o We formalized our cost recovery policy (what we charge users for
  samples and data) and posted it on our web site.

o Our repository was acknowledged for the first time in a publication
  in the Journal of Neuroimmunology.

Cure Map:

o Our analysis of research into vaccination's potential effect on MS
  risk, and the accompanying study database, are now posted and can be
  found here:
