Boston Cure Project informal status since last reported on 11/20/02:

>>> Joining Us This Month

We haven't had any new additions this month

>>> Cure Map

We continue to work on the Cure Map documents, Hollie has finished up
drafts of the Chromosomal and Mitochondrial DNA scientific literature
reviews that will be posted to the web in the next week or so. She is
also nearing completion of a spreadsheet containing synopses of the
several thousand MS candidate gene and genome screen studies. In
addition she has begun work on an MS research strategy overview.

On the blood and tissue bank front we have continued to meet with
Genomics Collaborative, the company we have selected to help store and
collect our samples. They are currently crafting a contract and
helping develop the study protocol and informed consent form. We are
in the process of creating a questionaire to go along with the sample
collection based on about 8 other questionaires we have acquired.

>>> Education

MSNews (http://msnews.bostoncure.org) continues to grow in hits and
continues to have daily updates on news about MS. If you haven't been
to the site, we highly recommend signing up so you can receive daily
updates via email.

>>> Community Building

Art was featured in an interview article for the Arlington Advocate
thanks to Teak Media:
