2013 Events

Throughout the year, ACP and its supporters host a number of events to help raise funds for our programs. See below for a list of upcoming events. We would love to see you there!

June 1st - 11th Annual Hunt to Cure MS (The Bell in Hand, Boston)

Get Excited for the 11th Annual Scavenger Hunt to Cure MS!!! Theme this year is... Best in Boston!!!

When: Saturday, June 1st, 2013

Where:  Registration starts at 10:00 AM at The Bell in Hand, 45 Union Street  Boston, MA and the after party starts at 4:00 PM back at The Bell in Hand

How: Register your Team Here, before May 17, 2013

Teams will start at Bell In Hand Tavern and spend the afternoon scouring Boston and Cambridge to collect points. Top fundraisers and performers will receive prizes!

If you are creative, enjoy seeing the sights, and know how to have fun, then this is the event for you! Your team will be sent out searching for facts and fiction intermixed with creative projects. Prizes will be given for top points, top fundraising team, and top individual fundraiser, among others. Team fee will include after-party.

Each team will consist of 4 people and is responsible for raising a minimum of $500 prior to the event.

After the Hunt, all teams enjoy a huge after-party to celebrate the event's success with recognition and prizes to the teams earning the most game points as well as teams and individuals raising the most money. The goal is to raise money and awareness for the Accelerated Cure Project, and to have fun while traveling across the city!

For those who want to just come and meet and mingle with the participants and support ACP at the after-party, cost will be a $20 donation.

August 11th - 2013 New Balance Falmouth Road Race (Falmouth, MA)

2013 New Balance Falmouth Road Race

We have 12 bibs available!!!

The race is seven miles long and begins in front of the Woods Hole Community Center, near the drawbridge on Water Street. The first three miles are narrow, hilly, winding tree-shaded roads, while the last four miles are open on the flat right next to Martha's Vineyard Sound. A small steep hill lets you know that you are beginning the last half-mile of the race. Once you crest the hill it is "all downhill" to the finish.

The race is on Sunday, August 11th, 2013! Registration is $150 per person with a $1,000 fundraising minimum.

September 8th to September 15th - MS Global: Miles 4 MS (Montana Rocky Mountains)

MS Global: Miles 4 MS

A week long cycling event through Montana Rocky Mountains

A wonderful experience riding for a week, spending time with old and new friends, and through all raising funds and awarness for ACP!

September 28th - 5th Annual Recognition Dinner (The Sheraton Hotel, Boston)
