Global Leadership in Innovation and Collaboration Award
In November 2011, Suffolk University’s Center for Innovation and Change Leadership (CICL) honored the Accelerated Cure Project with its annual Global Leadership in Innovation and Collaboration Award at the Sawyer Business School in Boston. This award recognizes an organization that fosters and inspires innovation and collaboration within the research, teaching, and service missions of CICL and Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School. As part of the Business School’s effort to incorporate real-world training in the curriculum, the University will develop a case study based on ACP, which will be used in classroom discussions.
Since 2005, ACP has been recognized by Charity Navigator—the nation’s largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities—for its financial health, accountability, and transparency. We currently have a 3-star rating.
In early 2012, ACP was approached about participating in The Giving Library—a new initiative of the Laura and John Arnold Foundation that is creating an online video archive to provide philanthropists with an opportunity to learn about work being done by 200 nonprofits across the country. ACP is honored to be a foundational member of this project and is excited to share our video.
