At the Canine Happy Hour, dogs drink free! Vaccinated and non-aggressive dogs welcome! Dog owners enjoy food, nonalcoholic drinks, and music plus doggie bag giveaways!

What to expect:

Mary Owen, Research Nurse Practioner at UCSF will be giving a demonstration about training your dog to be a service dog.

Golden Gate Grooming's mobile dog spa will offer nail clinic services for a suggested donation to all attendees. Golden Gate Grooming is generously donating all nail clinic proceeds to Accelerated Cure Project.

Beverly Ulbrich, aka The Pooch Coach, will be hosting her "Ask the Trainer" booth and giving a demonstration. Bevely is an internationally known dog trainer and behavior specialist (as seen on MythBusters, Animal Planet, CBS News and KRON4)

We are setting up an agility course and several other competitions for your dogs with opportunities to win cool prizes.

We will be raffling off a Misti Layne www.mistilayne.com portrait session for your pup (valued at $495).

Through it all, we'll be entertained by Mark David Ashworth myspace.com/markdavidashworth, self-described "slow, pretty folk music" on a Saturday afternoon.

Lafayette Park encompasses 4 blocks in Pacific Heights. The park stretches between Sacramento Street and Washington Street, Laguna Street and Gough Street. The picnic area where the event will be held is closest to the Laguna and Washington intersection and is visible from the road. The picnic area is just north of the children's play area.

Transportation Options: There is street parking surrounding the park. For those taking public transportation, nearby bus routes: 1, 12, 47, 49, and 76.
