Contribute

The Accelerated Cure Project is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the IRS, therefore your cash, stock, vehicle, or in-kind contribution may entitle you to a tax deduction.

We are currently accepting cash contributions by check, credit card, or wire transfer, contributions of publicly traded stock, and gifts of goods or services that will help us with our business or events. We are also able to use any volunteer time you might wish to provide.

Contribute Vehicle

The Accelerated Cure Project can accept donations of some vehicles through America's Car Donation Charities Center. To donate a vehicle, contact us and we will email, fax, or mail you a form to fill out (or you can download a PDF version here). Return the filled out form to us and we'll submit it to America's Car Donation Charities Center. They will take care of all the details of arranging pickup, disposal or sale of the car, and delivery of your contribution to us. For their services, they keep 30% of the funds. You can get more details off their FAQ page.

Please be aware that due to changes in the used vehicle market and the price of scrap metal having dropped to an all time low, certain vehicles may not generate a high enough return to pay for processing and towing. As a result, we are not able to accept every vehicle donation. Should it be the case that we cannot accept your vehicle donation we will notify you immediately after we've received your paperwork and assessed the situation.

Beginning January 1, 2005 the IRS has new rules regarding tax deductions from vehicle donations. Please familiarize yourself with them here.

Matching Gift Programs

Many companies have "Matching Gift Programs" for charitable contributions made by their employees. This means that for every dollar an employee gives to an approved charitable organization, their employer will contribute some additional amount.

Please ask your human resources department if your company offers a program like this. If so, let us know and we'll help you fill out the necessary paperwork to multiply your contribution by taking advantage of this generous benefit.
