 Ms. Cronin has close to 25 years of fundraising experience both as a paid professional and motivated volunteer. She began her career as the Development/Marketing Director for the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club in Winston-Salem, NC in 1995.
Since that time, she has worked with several health related nonprofits including the American Cancer Society, Foundation Fighting Blindness and most recently the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Chicago. As the Executive Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Chicago, Ms. Cronin worked in partnership with volunteers and staff to double the revenue within five years through the recruitment of over 700 new volunteers and the Volunteer Leadership Initiative.
With her leadership, energy, enthusiasm, and fundraising skills she has consistently increased revenues and significantly exceeded goals by recruiting, motivating and leading volunteers. She has been successful in creating and managing special events as well as soliciting major gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations.
Her education includes Ball State University, Harper College and the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy.
On a personal level, she relocated to the Boston area with her husband, Ed. Between the two, they have six grown children who are scattered throughout the nation. In her free time, she loves to have dinner parties in her home, running and travel.
