
Charlie Namias has spent most of his 20-year career in entrepreneurial
environments designing, marketing and selling high performance
computer and storage systems.
Most recently, he was responsible for Business Development for
Storigen Systems, a company focused on Internet Content Delivery and
Remote Office Backup Solutions. He drove all of Storigen's strategic
partnerships including its OEM relationship with EMC.
Mr. Namias is the founder and president of Mass Networks, Inc. a
company focused on the development and deployment of video and photo
e-mail kiosks used to help Fortune 1000 companies promote their brands
through entertainment. Prior to Mass Networks, he held several
positions at Encore Computer Corporation, most recently as an officer
of the company and Vice President of Corporate Alliances where he
spearheaded the $185M sale of Encore's storage business to Sun
Microsystems. In addition, he held positions in Marketing, Sales and
Engineering and was a lead developer for Encore's first commercial
multiprocessor computer. Prior to Encore, he held product development
positions for Digital Equipment Corporation and Raytheon.
Mr. Namias holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a
Masters of Science in Computer Engineering from Boston University
College of Engineering. He lives in Boxborough with his wife Debbie
and two children. In addition to his work with the Boston Cure
Project, he volunteers his time to the Acton Food Pantry.
