 Mr. Peabody is founder and general partner of personal and executive
coaching firm
Climbing Trees Coaching,
in which he coaches, consults
and advises individuals in the areas of personal
performance, values clarification, leadership skills, and effective
interpersonal communications.
Mr. Peabody has nearly 20 years of work experience in information and
communications technology with companies ranging from start-ups to
Fortune 500 organizations. With significant entrepreneurial
experience, he has held senior positions in general management,
product management, product and corporate marketing, and information
technology.
Previously, Mr. Peabody was Vice President and Managing Director for
Aberdeen Group, a leading IT market research and consulting firm with
offices in Boston, Palo Alto and Amsterdam. Mr. Peabody founded Internet
Service Provider RapidNet, serving consumer and SMB customers. Mr. Peabody
managed corporate services, marketing and government relations. He has been
a software development manager building, and selling, products to federal,
state and county government including the Department of Defense, and Fortune
500 accounts in financial services and information technology.
Mr. Peabody served on the Board of Directors of Rapid City Regional
Hospital, a $250 million tertiary care center. He is on the Board of
Directors of Congregation Kerem Shalom in Concord, Massachusetts.
In the spring of 2001, George's daughter Anna, then 15, was first
hospitalized and diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The impact on her life
has been substantial, exacerbated by the isolation of being one so young
with an adult disease.
Mr. Peabody holds a B.S. in Biology from Tufts University and has
pursued post-graduate education in economics, psychology and
organizational development. He is a Certified Professional Co-active
Coach.
